Rob Levy was recently asked, "What drives you in this business?" Rob's response was, "I have a responsibility to take care of my clients. They are entrusting me with what is likely the biggest investment of their lives. So I am focused on taking care of them and doing the right thing. If my team and I do that, we'll have a positive outcome."
It's with this approach that Rob has consistently been a top 1% producer since 1985. Rob originally intended to launch a career in commercial real estate out of college when he was introduced to the mortgage industry by a friend in the residential real estate business. He was instantly hooked.
Today, Rob has built his business and reputation such that if Rob states the proposed client is well qualified, it carries a lot of weight. This often translates into clients winning in a bidding war environment. With well over 30 years of helping homeowners, experience counts more than ever in today's economy.
When Rob is not helping homeowners, he likes to spend time with his wife of 35 plus years, Leslie. They enjoy playing tennis and experiencing the local restaurant scene in addition to cooking. Rob and Leslie are also parents of two grown daughters.
Speaking of restaurants, Rob is also the owner of one of Pasadena's finest establishments, restaurant. But it's not the excellent classic American cuisine that Rob is most proud of. It is Rob's dedication to his community, specifically serving on the board of Union Station Homeless Services. Rob serves on the Housing Innovation Sub Committee, where they look for unique ways of housing people in need that are not the norm.
Rob is also the creator of the "Masters of Taste event which features the area's finest restaurants on the historic Rosebowl field. Over 2,000 people attend the annual event where 100% of the proceeds go to the Union Station charity." However, in today's Covid-19 environment, Rob has the very same star chefs and bartenders who are currently out of work featured at The Raymond. They can continue to work and raise funds to serve .
