Jarred has always been responsive to our questions and friendly. He's been a pleasure to work with. The updates about process have been clear and regularly communicated. But I was upset to find in closing documents the words "wife and husband" as a description of myself and my partner. I do not recall ever being asked how we identify, so I did not have an opportunity to ask about alternative options before the documents were drafted. Even if we legally had to use "wife and husband" or vice versa, I would have liked to know beforehand.

Our situation was a little out of the ordinary when we started the mortgage process with Jarred. We had moved back to the US from Europe less than a year ago and needed to organize funds and paperwork from both continents.
