My experience wasn't perfect, but that's not necessarily the company's fault, nor the representative(s) I worked with. At the end of the day, they have a job for good reason and that's because these processes are complicated and even messy at times. Typically with factors outside their control. For the most part, they exhibited willingness to slow down and explain everything. To the same end, there are deadlines and you won't know it all until you take a few years of serious education. So there were points where it was mutually found best to not get too far into the weeds. Overall the process was smoother than expected and everyone was very communicative and punctual for deadlines. The less than perfect rating comes into play when you track the money and incentives. At the end of the day, it is still a business that needs to generate profits. I had moments where I could feel the similarity between negotiating prices/rates for a mortgage and negotiating the price of a car at a dealership. However, I think the average mortgage lender/agent is much less abrasive to interact with than your average car dealer, so don't take that comparison as a completely fair one-to-one. Still would much prefer reliving negotiating with a mortgage lender over negotiating with a car dealer. If friends and family asked, I'd tell them who I used, explain the pros and cons, and even recommend they reach out to CMG if they like the pros more than the cons. I don't think I'd become a walking/talking advertisement for them, but I can't complain as of now. My business with them is still fresh, so if I can come back and add/edit after a few years I will try to do so. Mainly to state whether they sold my loan or not. Standard procedure for everyone around me was they had their mortgage sold multiple times by their lender (not CMG). I was told CMG will see it through the whole 30 years. We will have to see about that. But for now, I am satisfied with the service(s) CMG has provided and the cost associated.

This is my second time using CMG as my mortgage lender. The stress of closing never leaves, but the process went just as smoothly as it did the first time. This is a bit overdue but I wanted to share real quick how amazing our experience was working with Grant and the whole team to purchase our first home! Communication was super easy and clear to understand. Everyone was so nice and friendly to work with. We were always given all the details, information and advice so we could make the best decisions possible. In beginning when we was pre approved I was shocked that Grant said we was ready for a home I didn’t believe I was ready always dreamed of owning a home to raise my family in and Grant helped turned my dreams into reality very passionate about his work and not just out there doing it for himself he shows character and very helpful was always responsive when I had a question or when I had my doubts

Working around my schedule & timeline-they really took the stress out of this process-which started months before my actually purchase.
